Get Into Pepsimoji

In the summer of 2016 Pepsi launched their very own set of emojis aptly named Pepsimojis. The emojis appeared on their bottles, in a mobile keyboard app and we gave fans the opportunity to become their own Pepsimoji at the crossroads of the world in Times Square, New York City.  The activation took place over the course of two eight hour days and the media ran hourly for a 2-week flight on the same boards.

To make the experience seamless and user-friendly, we developed a custom native iPad app using depth sensitive camera technology, so our street team could easily capture and edit photos of Pepsi fans on the spot.

Photos were then moderated in our home base in a nearby hotel which over-looked the plaza and billboards before streaming the personalized Pepsimojis across three of the biggest digital billboards in the country. Emojified fans were then instantly turned into social posts that they could share out to their own channels.
